Welcome to the world of new possibilities, reflecting our dynamic and contemporary approach to future. We, the student council are elated to give insights into the world of SOIL and its experiences. The PGPM batch of 2021-22 or as we’re referred to, the ‘Illuminators’ despite our Zoom call boundaries we constantly connect, share, and inspire every individual with our evolving stories that exhibit our love for achieving new heights and aspirations as a batch. We are proud to be a part of diverse, student-centered, globally engaged leadership school, which offers us high-value of education.

We are pleased to know, what we do matters and our opinions are valued. Our batchmates are from diverse backgrounds but are determined to work towards the same goal as to explore, learn and improve constantly. The platform we’ve been given to further enhance our knowledge on the workings of the world of business has become more engaging, inspiring alongside our esteemed faculty. As the saying goes, leaders are learners, and learners are leaders. SOIL Institute of Management’s unique position among top MBA colleges is perfect to analyze and discover our own short-term and long-term goals. The customizable curriculum, the program’s flexibility, the internal & external mentoring and the focus groups are some of the perquisites to effectively improve our practical knowledge and strengthen our thinking.

More to that, this is a place to build network, nurture relationships and finding like-minded people to associate with in our future aspirations. The diversity of the batch allows us to meet people from different states, domains of work and ages. Furthermore, the five pillars of the school being Awareness, Balance, Compassion, Diversity and Ethics are great ingredients to lead a successful life. The students of SOIL always hold themselves and each other to a high academic and personal standard. The mutually shared respect among us offers an individual freedom to explore our interests and learn in an open and collaborative environment. We take great pride together as a community and are aware, our words and actions reflect unity. Our Honor Code is evident through our work, reputation and success.

Presently, our batch is involved in various academic and non-academic activities, which includes group assignments, case-study presentations, B-School competitions, societies, clubs, sports, arts etc. Also, some students are provided with an opportunity to be a Research Associate (RA) in various departments of SOIL, which is helping them to enhance their planning & execution skills alongside education. It’s undeniable that such dynamic environment will ensure our personal development. In the three months of our batch’s journey with SOIL, it is safe to say we ourselves can identify enhancement in our qualities as a student and a citizen, with drive to achieve more overcoming any challenges through our leadership skills, communication, negotiation and multitasking. We are happy to help us and the school set new bar of excellence with each passing day and wishful that our objectives will lead way for the upcoming batches to their glory.
