The modern business world is constantly evolving, and it’s more important than ever to have strong and effective leaders who can navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with it. The book “Leaders in Making” delves into the experiences and insights of 30 such HR leaders from both the public and private sectors, providing valuable lessons, self-help tools, and career planning advice for readers. To further explore these themes, a panel discussion series on “Leaders in Making” has been scheduled to occur every Thursday, starting in January, organised by SOIL Institute of Management.

The Stories of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) is a webinar series that showcases the leaders & their journey in the field of human resources. This series aims to provide attendees with insights and lessons learned from leaders who have faced challenging situations and emerged as change makers within their organizations. Through these compelling narrative accounts, attendees will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the crucial role that HR plays in driving positive change within an organization.

Each webinar in this series features multiple leaders who will share their personal story of facing a crucible – a transformative event or challenge that tested their leadership skills and shaped their professional development. These leaders will provide candid accounts of their experiences, sharing the successes and failures they encountered along the way. The first panel of the series was led by three esteemed speakers: Mr. Ashok K Balyan, Chairman and Director of Carmine Energy Pte in Singapore, Mr. Anil Khandelwal, the former Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda, and Ms. Anuranjita Kumar, Co-founder and CEO at WeAce and a former Chief Human Resources Officer at Citi South Asia. These leaders shared their own experiences and insights on leadership and change-making in the HR field, and will offer practical advice and strategies for attendees to implement in their own workplaces.
