The ILC is a yearly event organized by SOIL that provides a space for experienced leaders to share their stories and insights with aspiring leaders. The conference has featured many notable speakers who have shared their thoughts on various themes. The event offers students the opportunity to learn from these leaders and be inspired by their experiences.

The 14^th Inspired Leadership Conference was a successful event held on December 9, 2022 at the SOBD campus. The conference focused on the theme of “Dialogue Across Differences” and featured two panel discussions and an open space dialogue.

The conference was opened with a morning circle and the lighting of the lamp by select members of the participants. Anil Sachdev, founder and chairman of SOIL, gave opening remarks on the ILC theme. The welcome address was given by Dr T G Vijaya, Director of SOIL, followed by the keynote address was given by Manoj Kohli, Country Head – India of Softbank Group International.

The first panel discussion focused on “Corporate Profits vs Societal Good” and included Aadesh Goyal, Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata Communications Ltd., Dr Nidhi Pundhir, Vice President and Director at HCL Foundation, and Dr Katsuhiko Yoshikawa, Associate Professor and Vice President at Shizenkan University in Tokyo. The panel was moderated by Mohammad Salman, Director of Career Management Services at SOIL.

The second panel discussion focused on “Societal Metamorphosis: Drivers, Challenges & Opportunities” and included Rohit Adlakha, former Chief Digital and Information Officer and Global Head at Wipro Homes, and Peter David Pederson, Co-Founder of NELIS (Next Leaders Initiative for Sustainability) and Professor at Shizenkan University. The panel was moderated by Mr. Yogesh Andlay, Founder of Nucleus Software and Board Member at SOIL.

In addition to the panel discussions, the conference also featured an open space dialogue where participants from the corporate and social sectors, as well as academic collaborators from Shizenkan University, shared their perspectives on the challenges facing society and potential solutions.

The conference concluded with a valedictory address from Prashant Tripathy, MD & CEO of Max Life Insurance, followed by a vote of thanks from A N Bhattacharya, Professor of Marketing at SOIL.

Overall, the 14^th Inspired Leadership Conference provided a valuable platform for us to engage in meaningful discussions with industry leaders from various sectors on the theme of “Dialogue Across Differences.” The conference encouraged open and inclusive dialogue and fostered collaboration towards addressing the challenges facing society.
