The Career Management Services(CMS) not simply about obtaining a job; it’s about bringing out the best in you as a professional and a leader. CMS is dedicated to assisting students in achieving long-term professional success by providing appropriate resources and guidance.

1-on-1 Mentorship

The Industry Mentoring Program is a responsible partnership between you and your mentor that focuses on developing career skills and identifying career goals, gaps and future action scopes.

The mentors interaction is a compulsory weekly activity for all the students.
The mentors would be assigned from a pool of corporate leaders, Senior Executives, Thought Leaders, Academicians, Alumni.

Setting Up Vision & Way Forward

Every student at SOIL will undergo a vision workshop to find out his ideal career path and personal developmental goals. These goals will be built in collaboration with the Industry & Academy mentors.

Industry Academy Networking/Weeks

Every year we hold an Industry Academy Week to close the gap between the Industry, academia and the graduates. These weeks happen at the end of project deadlines and give a fantastic opportunity for students to pause and focus on building their creative networks and determining their future careers whilst reflecting on their own work.

The career services team also provides various learning opportunities for students to develop their soft skills necessary in verbal and written communication, leadership, team building, time and resource management, networking and public speaking. Furthermore, students will learn to reflect on their own personal attitudes and cultural values which influence their behaviour and relationships.

Industry Study Tours

Industry tours provide an opportunity for students to visit how corporates work in real-time and the use of technology across industries. The activities include a normal observation of the work environment, shadowing a CEO, etc.,

On an average, our students visit industries once every week.

Final Placements 2024

Our Placement Highlights would detail our efforts towards guiding the career paths of our students. With the personalized assistance provided by the CMS, the faculty, the peers and the alumni network, the MBA candidates have been able to grow in their existing role and their company to higher managerial positions or change their career path completely by changing their sector, function, role and geographical location.

Despite a slightly adverse macro environment for hiring, our valued base of recruiting organizations has continued to repose its faith in our students. Plus, we have managed to add several new Companies to this firm base. Our students have been absorbed in all the key sectors – including IT, Manufacturing, Finance, Consulting and eCommerce.
