Profile Based Evaluation Method

To be considered for the SOIL Flagship PGPM program, your evaluation will be based on the following criteria:

    CAPACITY TO THINK

    The ability of a candidate to think independently and generate original ideas. Reflects curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to explore new perspectives.

    CAPACITY TO LEARN

    Demonstrates how quickly and effectively a candidate can become proficient in a new subject. This is often reflected in academic performance and a consistent track record of self-improvement.

  • 03

    CAPACITY FOR ACTION

    The drive to translate ideas into real-world outcomes. Candidates who have taken initiative - especially in extracurriculars or side projects - showcase this through tangible achievements.

  • 04

    CAPACITY TO RELATE

    The ability to empathize with others and work effectively across diverse teams. This includes openness to different viewpoints and a bias-free approach to collaboration.

    CAPACITY TO COMMUNICATE

    The clarity and simplicity with which one can express thoughts, ideas, and intentions. Strong communicators engage others and make complex things understandable.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the one year MBA – PGPM HR program, a student must fulfil the following criteria

  • A Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised institution with at least 50% in graduation.
  • Greater than 60% in 10th & 12th Standard Examinations
  • Freshers & Work Experienced are eligible to apply.
  • Valid CAT 2024/25; NMAT2025/26; XAT 2025/26, accepted. (One score is mandatory)
  • If you dont have any of the above scores, please appear for SOIL SAT Test.
The following exam scores are acceptable for admissions to the 1 Year PGPM Program.

SOIL Aptitude Test (SAT)

The SOIL Aptitude Test is a mandatory assessment for applicants who haven't submitted other recognized aptitude exam scores (CAT, XAT, NMAT, etc.). While also open to those with existing scores looking to improve their admission chances, this test is crucial for completing the SOIL admissions process.

  • Duration of test is 60 minutes.
  • The test is designed to assess aptitude without extensive preparation.
  • Test results are required to complete the admission process.
  • The exam can be taken before or after the GEPI process, but must be completed for admission consideration.

Our SOIL One Year MBA – PGPM application process requires you to fill in an online application form by your chosen application deadline. You will be required to provide the admissions committee with the following

  • Details of academic background
  • An extensive account of your work experience
  • MBA Exam Scores / Opt for SAT Score
  • Upload Document Proofs

Application Form

Appear for GEPI Process

The GEPI process evaluates candidates' leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through group exercises and personal interviews. This multi-phase assessment provides a comprehensive view of each applicant's capabilities and program fit.

Group Exercise:

The group exercise challenges candidates to tackle real-world problems using Design Thinking principles and methodologies. This collaborative session allows applicants to:

  • Apply user-centric approaches to complex issues
  • Demonstrate empathy, ideation, and prototyping skills
  • Showcase their ability to iterate and refine solutions quickly

Personal Interview:

Interviews with short-listed candidates will be conducted by a faculty member and a senior member of the industry. Interviews last about 45 minutes and you will be asked questions about your background and your aspirations, and how the PGPM program fits with your plans.

GEPI Process

Take SAT Test (For students who didnt appear for Aptitude exams)

Take SET Test

Final Decision & Registration

Final decisions will be emailed to all candidates most probably within four weeks of taking the interview. After your interview there are three possible outcomes:

  • You are made an offer to join the program.
  • You are asked to appear for a personal interview for the second time.
  • You are not successful at securing a place this year.

Program Registration

Once you are made an offer to join the PGPM program, you will be required to secure your place by paying the first instalment of the course fee – INR Two Lacs within 10 days of receiving the offer. The Admissions team will guide you through this process.

SOIL follows a multiple cycle model to accept maximum applications for the program and to arrive at a better shortlisting of students for a quality PGPM program batch. The cycle dates given below are subjected to change based on the admission committee’s decision.
