ADDITIONAL NOTES

Laptop – All students enrolled in the institute needs to have a laptop for their coursework. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided to all students once enrolled. The minimum configurations for smooth running of most programmes required as part of the coursework are – Processor Speed: minimum of Intel Core i5, RAM- minimum of 8 GB, Hard Drive/SSD – 500 GB or higher, Wi-Fi enabled, OS: Windows-7 or above. In addition, any licensed antivirus software (Freeware are not valid).
Global Immersion Experience – is our endeavour to provide our students an international exposure*** through our signature Global Immersion Experience Program for which students are required to travel overseas and have a valid passport. Such programs are offered at a highly subsidized cost to the students. Additional charges may apply depending on the location and any value-added experiences offered, which will be communicated at the time of location finalization. All students must pay their own visa fee and medical insurance premiums as applicable. The ensuing Global Immersion Experience Program would be conducted based on the then prevailing global travel scenario and the prescribed government guidelines regarding the same and the final decision would be at the sole discretion of the management committee of the institute.
PG or Hostel Accommodations – We understand your concerns for residing in a safe and comfortable environment while staying away from home. So, we assist all our accommodation desiring college students in searching and finding residential accommodation facility options within proximity of our campus on extra but affordable costs. Visiting SOBD campus – Small group information sessions to clear any doubts regarding PGDM programme, a brief campus tour or a class sit-in experience are offered and organized by the college from time to time. We also encourage you to join us for lunch in our college campus cafeteria during such a visit. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY (Applicable to 2 Year PGDM program only)

The Enrolment fee is refundable as per the AICTE Norms.

SITUATION	REFUND
Request received before the date of start of induction/orientation/foundation/academic session/course whichever is earlier.	In the event of a student withdrawing before the start of the induction/orientation/foundation/academic session/course whichever is earlier the entire fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee of not more than ₹1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) shall be refunded by the institute.
Request received after joining the induction/orientation/foundation/academic session/course & seat filled by the institute	In case, a student leaves after joining the induction/orientation/foundation/academic session/course and if the vacated seat is consequently filled by another student by the last date of admission, the Institute will refund the fee collected after a deduction of the processing fee of not more than ₹1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and proportionate deductions of the monthly fee and hostel rent, where applicable.
Request received after joining the induction/orientation/foundation/academic session/course & seat could not be filled by the institute	If the vacated seat is not filled, the Institute will refund only the security deposit and return the original documents if possessed earlier

Need Based Scholarship

The objective of the need-based scholarship at SOIL is to support potential students who would like to pursue PGDM but need financial support. Those students whose gross annual family income is below Rs.8,00,000 during the previous financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Merit Based Scholarship

The scholarship committee will be evaluating the applications based on the academic track record of the student and the Entrance Exam scores. The shortlisted students will be called for a personal interaction with the scholarship committee.

Dr. Verghese Kurien Scholarship

Constituted in the honour of Dr V Kurien, the father of the White Revolution in India and is given to the wards of farmers to pursue the PGDM program. Those students who meet the following criteria can apply – Ward of a Farmer with annual income below 5 lacs

Defence Personnel Scholarship

This scholarship will encourage the wards of Serving Defence personal /Ex-Serviceman to pursue the PGDM program at SOIL. All Indian defence services and BSF families will be considered under this scheme

Unique Achievement Award

This category of scholarships is given to those students who have earned awards or achievements in the field of Sports, Fine Arts, Social Work or any other related fields.
