From the Himalayan foothills to the heart of rural India, the Sidhbari Leadership Retreat is more than a journey, it’s a transformation. Over seven days, students step into villages, work with community leaders, witness grassroots change, and learn the values of empathy, resilience, and inclusive leadership. They return not just inspired, but ready to create meaningful impact in the world.
Students travel from Delhi to Sidhbari and settle at Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram, beginning with an introduction to CORD and the retreat’s objectives.
Assigned fieldwork activities prepare students to understand rural realities, leadership challenges, and opportunities for community-driven change.
In small groups, students engage with locals, learn operational realities, and explore ways to support women entrepreneurs, livelihoods, and inclusive growth.
Through Appreciative Inquiry, Panchatatva, and other self-reflection activities, students strengthen empathy, problem-solving, and collaborative leadership skills.
Groups present findings and solutions from their field visits, linking grassroots insights to sustainable leadership practices.
A trek to Triund builds resilience, teamwork, and adaptability, translating outdoor challenges into leadership lessons.
Students explore McLeodganj’s culture before returning to Delhi, carrying skills and perspectives shaped by an immersive leadership journey.

At SOIL, leadership begins within. Through reflection, mindfulness, and values-driven exercises, students gain clarity on their purpose, strengthen emotional intelligence, and build resilience. This journey nurtures self-awareness, sharpens decision-making, and fosters authenticity and integrity — empowering students to navigate challenges with confidence and lead with a strong sense of purpose.
Ethics through Theatre uses the art of performance to explore moral choices and the nuances of right and wrong. Students step into diverse perspectives, confronting ethical dilemmas with empathy and self-awareness. This process strengthens integrity, sharpens judgment, and instills the courage to act in alignment with core values.
