It is quite challenging to explore \u201cSymbolic interactionism\u201d as a special theme for Accounting class. Right from Childhood everyone wishes to draw, write and explain. It is far easier for a small child to draw what he or she experiences. These tautological and interpretative gestures are the Building blocks of how any child grows and imagines the World. The speaking, writing comes later.<\/p>\n
The attempt to use Building blocks in Accounting is a healthy innovation as it provides exploratory analysis of how Adult learners take simple block building exercises as a means to understand the nuances of Banking, Accounting and Investment.<\/p>\n
The students Accounting Design Lab utilised \u201cLegos\u201d and each block was \u201cpriced\u201d based on concepts of Demand and supply. It was fun and provided deep learning and reflection on the part of budding entrepreneurs, design leaders & functional experts to work in a team environment. The idea was to produce a product in a factory which is optimal in terms of financial resources, and which produces a value to the end consumer.<\/p>\n
