We hand-picked leaders from industries which are transforming themselves for the future and incorporated their inputs to refine our program curriculum to make it contextual and relevant.<\/p>\n<p>Following industry leaders were engaged to understand the current organizational trends and challenges that they are facing, how they are reading the future of work in their industries, and how a design-driven culture could add value and a distinct competitive advantage to their organizations.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"one_column\">\n<li>01. Mr Krish Shankar, CHRO<\/li>\n<li>02. Mr Deepak Padaki, Global Head of Strategy<\/li>\n<li>03. Anantha Radhakrishnan, CEO of BPM business unit from Infosys<\/li>\n<li>04. Saurabh Govil CHRO, Wipro<\/li>\n<li>05. Pratik Kumar, President, Wipro<\/li>\n<li>06. Soumitra Bhattacharya, MD from Bosch<\/li>\n<li>07. Devi Shetty Founder, Narayana Hrudayalaya.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are the key inputs in a nutshell that fed into the curriculum structure of the School of Business Design.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Need for the businesses to transform themselves in the age of disrupting technology<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The pace of change in today\u2019s business environment is increasing exponentially \u2013 both in size and impact. Economies, jobs and personal lives are becoming digital, more connected and increasingly more automated. Businesses across industries are being threatened by disrupting technologies. What passes for \u201cbusiness as usual\u201d today will be obsolete and outdated tomorrow. There is a need for organizations to transform themselves from not only having an efficiency mindset but also, a culture that fosters innovation and divergent thinking.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Leveraging technology to create optimal impact and incorporating it to accelerate outcomes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technology is drastically transforming the Healthcare Industry. Doctors are having to appreciate and deploy technology in a big way. Artificial Intelligence-based software can do a better job of diagnosis when time is short. It is anticipated that in ten years, laws will make it mandatory to take a second opinion from software for a more accurate diagnosis. As a result, doctors would need to learn these emerging technologies in an accelerated way. On the other hand, this threat of redundancy forces the doctors to find creative ways to leverage technology to create maximum impact.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Up-skilling of the middle management leaders to bypass redundancy <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Digital disruptions are changing patterns in the IT industry, which have wholly embraced the Internet of Things and are extensively deploying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in everything. It has become more crucial for them to not only solve problems assigned to them but also proactively uncover hidden issues. They also need to be able to handle the Yin of process focus and the Yang of working together with heterogeneous teams. Ability to put customers first and empathize with clients is a pertinent step in this direction. Technology is forcing erstwhile Project Managers to learn digital and other skills to stay relevant<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expectations from new leaders: Acquiring new skills, ability to collaborate and agility to adapt to new environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Doing all of the above requires a certain mindset, which can be enabled by design thinking. This realization is forcing organizations to set up robust learning architectures to reskill their existing leaders in emerging areas like Design Thinking, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. Organizations are also focusing on values like creativity, empathy, eagerness and capacity to learn new skills, the ability to collaborate effectively to create new and inspiring stories, intuition and the agility to adapt to today\u2019s fast-changing environment.
