Conversely, <a href=\"https:\/\/thriveglobal.com\/stories\/four-reasons-why-millennials-job-hop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lacking the meaningful innovation they desire may prompt them to switch roles<\/a>. Despite being stereotyped as \u201clazy\u201d, reports reveal millennials grasp the necessity of progressing into leadership roles. The 2019 Millennial Manager Workplace Survey indicates that 54% are aligned with the idea of &#8220;paying their dues,&#8221; while 64% find it reasonable to spend up to two years in a role before seeking advancement. <\/p>\n<div class=\"blog-pic blog-pic1\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.soil.edu.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/the-2019-millennial-manager-workplace-survey-indicates.jpg\" alt=\"The 2019 Millennial Manager Workplace Survey indicates\" title=\"The 2019 Millennial Manager Workplace Survey indicates\" class=\"img-b\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Nearly half express gratitude for current opportunities, acknowledging the need for constant upskilling alongside aspirations for better positions.<\/p>\n<p id=\"a-compelling-story-of-evolving-aspirations\">In the dynamic landscape of today&#8217;s professional world, individuals are breaking barriers and redefining career paths. Aditya, a testament to this trend, embarked on a transformative journey that shifted not just his job but his entire career trajectory. I got the opportunity to shift my career at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soil.edu.in\/\">the SOIL Institute of Management<\/a>. The Career Management Service (CMS) team provided us with feedback and what I would call constructive criticism, which helped us to improve our interviewing, and discussion skills, and periodic mock interviews helped us gain confidence. The industry-relevant, innovative pedagogy at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soil.edu.in\/pgpm-hr\">one-year MBA &#8211; PGPM-HR<\/a> made us industry-ready. The live projects under immersive learning helped us learn about modern business and insights into the kind of roles we will take up shortly. The CMS teams also help us identify our strengths and weaknesses and encourage us to look for roles that would be beneficial for us in the long run. Besides, SOIL helps us look within ourselves, identify our potential, and become what we are seeking.
