Those days are long gone when a woman was perceived as only a home maker. She has now moved on to undertake significant responsibilities in commerce, technology, management and many more arenas. The number of women in the organizational workforce is expanding with their enrollment in various mba programs<\/a> and will continue to do so as they are excelling in academics and proving that they are excellent employees. A survey conducted in 1998 stated that there are 76.3% of women working in the age of 25-34 compared to a meager 34% in 1950. There is also a steep rise in women CEOs and global heads of multinational companies throughout the world.<\/p>\n

There are several success stories of women carrying out responsibilities that have earned their company millions of dollars and then there are some who are entrepreneurs and have made their own business a global success. On the flip side, there are certain aspect that can affect a woman\u2019s attendance in a workplace. Women, unlike men have added responsibilities; they need to take care of children and elders alike. This can affect their attendance in a working organization and hamper their growth in the organization. Women also avail maternity leave unlike men and this again results in irregular attendance, this is probably just one drawback that women face in a working environment. As organizations have noticed this flaw and do not want to lose their hardworking female workforce, they have devised certain methods to work around this problem.
