That\u2019s why choosing one-year MBA program from SOIL addresses many of the concerns in this regard, which I think is best as I have also opted for this program. It enables me to take a leap of faith and possibly transform my life altogether in the duration of one-year.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blog-pic\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.soil.edu.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Why-I-chose-SOIL-for-my-MBA.jpg\" alt=\"Why I chose SOIL for my MBA\" title=\"Why I chose SOIL for my MBA\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>There are many reasons which attracted me to do this MBA program from SOIL. The primary factor which encourages me to do one-year program as a working professional is the reduced time span of the course which promises quick results in terms of placements and a drastic change in pay grade. It also helps build business acumen and refines one\u2019s existing instincts and knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Working professionals who enter in this program can relate what they study in an academic setting with their previous professional experience. The course has a shorter duration, so it doesn\u2019t involve any summer internships. However, in place of internships, we are assigned live projects which allow us to resolve business problems by employing both our prior work experience as well as subject knowledge which we have learnt in our curriculum. The batches here usually comprise of students from diverse industrial backgrounds. And so, we get the opportunity to engage with each other and leverage each other\u2019s experiences.<\/p>\n<p>The best parts of the SOIL learning experience for me are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Case Study Learning:<\/strong> The pedagogy for classroom learning here is majorly a cased based one wherein we learn by analysing and solving case studies. It is advantageous to us as we have work experience and are able to relate to the discussion better. <\/p>\n<p><strong>The Clubs:<\/strong> There are many clubs here in SOIL, which if we get in, we inevitably have to work together in a team. It helps us with skills of team building, leadership and handling conflict situations. Also, it is an excellent learning opportunity to learn from our peers individually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Placements:<\/strong> When it comes to placements, SOIL is co-created by a group of 32 multinational and Indian companies from across industry verticals. These consortium companies invest their time in designing the curriculum, selecting students, mentoring them, and building relevant case studies. This helps us as students to meet the highest quality standards of the industry at large and these companies in particular. The demand for a one-year MBA has also increased rapidly as companies are looking for experienced professionals with management skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rigorous and focussed curriculum:<\/strong> Our one-year program is condensed, but that doesn\u2019t mean that it misses out on any key content. It still has the same rigorous courses which help us to sharpen our economic and business skill sets, with a more immediate focus on our career building. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Able to Quickly restart our Career:<\/strong> With this program, we can take advantage of moving quickly back into our careers. The quicker we are back into work, then the quicker we will start seeing a return on our investments. This program allows me to maintain my career whilst studying for a qualification that can enhance my prospects.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Possibility to make a career switch:<\/strong> It is also possible to make significant changes to our career after the one-year program. It offers career acceleration, through which we can see major changes right after completion of the program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Cost Effective:<\/strong> Last but not least, one of the most important benefits of this program is cost-effectiveness. Alongside the tuition fees, this one-year program is also more affordable in terms of the cost of living.
