The process also explores what your hidden potential is which can be nurtured further.<\/p>\n<p>The admission process at SOIL starts with the careful understanding of your application form, understanding your overall profile, followed by a <strong>Group Discussion, Design Thinking Workshop and a Personal Interview<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group Discussion is a round<\/strong> where you are given a topic or a situation to discuss. This helps the faculty to assess your keen understanding of the same, your assertiveness, ability to listen, collaborate, communicate and come to a desirable conclusion. It basically helps to know how keen a person is to know about what\u2019s happening around them and gain knowledge consistently to utilise it effectively in making proper decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Thinking Workshop<\/strong> is an interesting glimpse to the world of Design Thinking and Innovation wherein students collaborate with each other to come up with a solution to the given problem by thinking with an open mind. The team work approach works best here and helps in gaining insights by applying the 5 steps of Design Thinking &#8211; Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test.
