It prepares the  students to learn the art of <strong>physical<\/strong> wellbeing, <strong>communication<\/strong> wellbeing as well as <strong>emotional<\/strong>, <strong>intellectual<\/strong> and <strong>spiritual<\/strong> wellbeing. The beauty of this course is that it lets us discover the gifts that  we possess and many a times we are not even aware of these qualities that we  actually have within ourselves. The main motto is to find the purpose and  leverage our strength so that we may manifest our dreams into reality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Freedom from  Fears <\/strong>is one such topic that we have covered in  this journey of the Self Leadership course. Interestingly, it is not  theoretical at all. It was a task given to the Illuminators batch where each  student had to choose one activity such as <strong>dramatics, singing, dancing,  cooking, photography, <em>shayari<\/em>, poetry <\/strong>or<strong> painting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The idea was not  to choose something that you are very good at, rather choose the one that you  are actually scared of doing in front of the public. For example, somebody who  considered himself or herself as a bathroom singer needed to come forward and  overcome their fear to get to freedom. It was done virtually where we got to  learn that there is nothing that could not be done in a digital platform.  Rather, we had to think out of the box to present ourselves in such a manner  that everyone learnt and enjoyed together in this exploration.<\/p>\n<p>Group singing  and acting were the showstoppers where students portrayed themselves into  different characters with various themes and social messages. Those who thought  themselves to be average dancers turned the tables with their mesmerizing moves.  For those who did not paint for years rejuvenated their childhood memories.  Some turned out to be amazing poets, and shared wonderful <em>shayaris<\/em>. We  also had a photography group who amazed us with their creativity. Lastly, we  also found some chefs in our batch who gave us a mouth-watering feel in our  process of overcoming our fears. This activity was done on the 75th  Independence week where we Illuminators got the freedom from our fears, just  the way our country got its freedom.<\/p>\n<p>No wonder, as a  part of the Self Leadership course, it was a task given to us to get rid of our  societal fear, but I can tell you one thing that I personally learnt from this  activity is that we all have been born with some talent that we don&rsquo;t even  realise. The day we get an opportunity, we try it out and prove ourselves,  without even thinking about success or failure.
