We’ve all heard of the saying, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going” Covid-19 has put people to test in all aspects, however, in the case of lack of clarity with respect to career choices, it is best to focus on knowledge and skill building, which may entail going back to the classroom to prepare oneself for the unforeseen future. In this light, MBA is a great idea any time. Be it covid-19 or any other time in life, as MBA does not teach us just technical skills. It equips us with life skills. Skills that are most important in any phase of our working career, and through ups and downs. MBA if done from the right institute, can help pilot one’s career in the direction of choice.

In fact, the emergence of the pandemic has led to the rise in popularity of online programs. Even employers have realized the importance of hiring candidates with the right set of skills instead of just focusing on the mode of the program or the pedigree of the institutions. Interestingly, according to the Graduate Management Admission Council’s 2020 annual survey, online MBA applications rose by 43.5%. Therefore, an MBA would be worth it.
