Overview

The learning design of the program aims at combining the theoretical knowledge of HR principles along with the practical application of HR in organizations. The program consisting of three terms looks at building a basic business foundation during Term 1, full fledged HR immersion in term 2 and provides elective options in term 3 for students to chose subjects in their prefered area of interest. The learning design creates opportunities for students to implement their knowledge by working in various industry projects.

Industry Live projects / Entrepreneurship Idea / Dissertation

SOIL curriculum requires graduates to take up industry-related assignments throughout their coursework. These assignments are held under the supervision of industry leaders and SOIL faculty.

Industry Live projects

Graduates work on a real time project helping a company with analysing business situations and developing implementable strategies

HR Lab

Work on a unique real-time simulation using HR concepts against other teams through various business scenarios.

Graduates learn about the impact of practical decision making vs theoretical decision making.

SOIL Consulting

Graduates work with SOIL Consulting team on live projects that enhances their understanding of the practical side of HR.

Ex – Practical use of Large Scale Interactive Processes(LSIP) for the Planning Commission that was looking at ways of reducing malnutrition in India.

PGPM – HR STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

This highly personalized curriculum is designed to develop HR Leaders who are equipped to handle the workload of an HR executive or manager in various industries and situations. The key learning outcomes of the curriculum are focussed at equipping the students:
